There are a lot of things you can learn from a book or a lecture, but Godly Play is best learned from the inside out.

At a Godly Play Core Training participants
· experience and learn about the different kinds of Godly Play stories;
· tell a story by heart and receive supportive feedback;
· learn the fundamentals of setting up your own Godly Play space and program.

Training is offered by accredited trainers from Godly Play Maritimes and includes three key plenary sessions and stories from each of the Godly Play genres:

ONE-DAY INTRODUCTORY GODLY PLAY WORKSHOP

Saturday, October 27 from 9:45am- 3:30pm: Cost is $20.

at the Godly Play Space at First Baptist Church, 1300 Oxford Street, Halifax, NS

Godly Play is a creative approach to nurturing children’s faith.
It values process, openness, discovery, community and relationships.
It supports children in being more fully aware of the mystery of God’s presence in their lives.

Join us for core training in Halifax at First Baptist Church.

Friday, September 21 (8:30-5:30) Module A – Sacred Stories and Creating Sacred Environments.

Saturday, September 22 (8:30-5:30) Module B – Parables and the Spirituality of the Child.

Saturday, October 27 (8:30-5:30) Module C – Liturgical Action Stories and the Community of Children.

Registration is limited – a minimum of 12 participants is required for the program. Applications will be received on a “first come, first serve” basis. Your space is not confirmed until FULL payment is received.
